Your take is interesting.

It sure seems to me that the Swedish (and GBD) approach was the best one and that the Fauci approach was disastrously wrong.

The stuff about mutations is a non-sequitur because all viruses are mutating all the time. THAT is one of the reasons we no longer have a pandemic, but a substantial degree of herd immunity against the root virus is also part of the reason.

BTW - I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat, nor did I vote for Trump or Harris, so none of that impacts my reading of the evidence.
