What do I have to be grateful for on this 62nd anniversary of my (current?) life? The list is nearly infinite, but I’ll try to summarize…

  1. Air conditioning and climate control in general
  2. Dogs
  3. The fact that the human race is divided into male and female
  4. The fact that we have so many ethnicities, and therefore so many different aesthetic distributions for our genders.
  5. Fabulous forms of entertainment — books. movies, TV, music, comic books — and nearly all of it is available almost instantly.
  6. Grocery stores
  7. Shelter (but it should cost about half what it does)
  8. Cars and planes
  9. The Internet
  10. Positive emotions such as love and joy

I hope you too have things to be grateful for.
