My response to Corey Robin's truly lousy approach to distinguishing Left and Right

As a libertarian I dislike the Right. But I view the Left as far more authoritarian. In fact, it's not even close. There is not a single aspect of life that the Left does not want to control. As far as I can see they have no brakes, at all. BY contrast, people on the Right do have brakes in at least a few areas.

People on the Right are also more open minded in my experience. I can have actual debates with them. But people on the Left foam at the mouth and block me.

You can even see this in the media. Fox News has made room for libertarian voices, even though it may cost Republican votes, but the Left channels pretend we don't exist.
