I think that's a great idea. Unfortunately, it's pretty clear from the man on the street interviews and polls I've seen that a huge portion of Palestinians don't merely want to rule from the river to the sea, they also want to exterminate and/or expel the Jewish population.

It's also pretty clear from the governance provided by the PA in the West Bank and Hamas in Gaza that the laws resulting from one-person-one-vote in a unitary state, would just be one more honor culture hell hole like all of the other states in the Arab League. No thank you.

In the Middle Ages the Muslims were more civilized than the Christians. Now those positions are reversed. I have complete confidence that Arab Muslims can eventually construct liberal societies that respect human rights, but we are currently a LONG way from that happening. So I'll pass on a state dominated by Palestinian voters, thank you very much.
