Gosh, this sounds terrible! No transaction can be recorded (and presumably completed) until a bunch of strangers agree? But it's really a bunch of strange bots making the decision, right? How is that a good thing? And how does the bot know when to accept or reject a change?

Is this really the simplest and best explanation? It still seems as clear as mud to me.
